Thanks for the chin up and why May will be Magic!

Sorry for my last journal. I should have known better but sometimes you just got to vent. Was just down in a rut but you guys were so kind and I took all your advice in and it really cheered me up, so thank you. I've found my perspective and gonna take it easy for a while.

I guess the timing was really good to be turning over a new leaf and starting fresh with a project that I'm really excited about. Oula has been begging to be drawn and I'm more than happy to oblige. After working on Bayou Arcana for months I now feel a bit more confident in telling my own stories, and now I've finished and have a bit more free time in my evenings, I'm starting with Oula. Its based on the types of Selkies I draw, yet I feel I can't call them that.. so it is and isn't a Selkie story. ^__^; You'll just have to wait and see.

So things may get a little bit more quiet online again.

But here's some good news for this coming may... BECAUSE IT'S ALL KICKING OFF!

May 1st: Not only is this date great because it's my birthday, but it is also the online launch date for Bayou Arcana! HOORAY!

May 12th-13th: Bristol Comic con is where the whole team of Bayou Arcana will be lauching the book! So there'll be lots of celebrating and nerding out! For me its a special date as I've only met two people who worked on the anthology in real life, so to meet all of them is going to be super fantastic! Bristol Comic con is always a convention I look forward to and its going to be even better this year as it's back at Brunel's old Station next to Bristol Temple Meads station. Its a beautiful building and perfect for easy commuting! Plus I get to check out my brother's new digs! Yay!

May 19th-20th: Team Bayou Arcana will also be selling the book at Kapow! Comic convention!. A few of us including myself will be there as guests and also taking part in a panel discussion. So if you're interested in what we have to say for ourselves then here's the oppertunity! It's my first time attending this convention, so I'm super excited about it, plus I'm gonna splash out on a fancy hotel. Why not! ^__^

May 25th-27th: London MCM comic convention My good friends KatCardy and JasonCardy and I will be drawing for charity again as part of team Last october was a blast and it'll be fantastic to see all of you lovely people there again if you are going. MCM is always one of the highlights of my comic calendar and I'm really looking forward to this one.

So there you have it!

Three weeks of conventions in a row. I'm gonna die and go to comic heaven, but it'll be glorious!
