Mudman and Spring sketches

These were the prep sketches for the coloured Mudman and Spring picture. I never usually do this. I just stick with what I draw first time, but this picture was special. I eventually decided on the pose in the top left corner, but it was a close decision between that one and the one just below it, with the leaves sprouting out of Mudman's forehead. There are also a few doodles of Spring and mudman on their own. I really like these sketches. The four on the left could almost be keyframes for animation.
