Bone is getting a little carried away with Moby Dick.
A tribute to the amazing Jeff Smith. There are so many comics I love and adore, and Bone is one of the most worshiped in my collection and something I can always pick up and enjoy no matter what. I cherish Smith's inkwork so much and it's always an inspiration.
As I'd been avoiding my computer as much as possible over the last year, I resorted to using traditional materials again. This was inked in brush pen and put aside as an ok drawing. I had a bit of free time last July and started to colour it, but gave up quickly.
I'm so glad I decided to finish it. I think its one of my favourite pieces now. Hopefully it is a worthy tribute.
Love love loooooove Bone. My friend lent me her all-in-one novel copy, and I just couldn't put it down. What a story. D:> You don't think it's going to get as intense, serious, and dramatic as it does... but then you keep on reading, and it just keeps getting better.
This is really pretty. ;u; I love the colorssss. <3

Wow! You're on a roll now, I'm very glad to see you back.
I love the shading and the scene with this piece, the glow in the ripples around her foot is really nice. Unfortunately I have never read Jeff Smith's comics...
But Whoop-de-loop!!! You're back!!!!!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This is lovely work of these two. Poor Bone and his love of Moby, I take it Thorne has built up an immunity to it by then? ^w^
The colors and the effects... I'm amazed
