Rant time. Be warned.

Ok, so this week saw the release of the Clash of the Titans teaser trailer.

This trailer both impressed me, and made me want to gouge my eyes and ears out, then thouroughly scrub my brain with iron wool till all knowlege of this trailer was erased. The original 1981 film is one of my favourite films when I was a kid, and whats not to love about a Ray Harryhausen monster (several of them)?
So I was pretty excited to hear they were remaking it to be released next year.
And then I saw the trailer.
What were they doing!!?? Its like some fan made video dubbed to rock music and slapped onto youtube. Urgh!

The visuals do look amazing and that music is pretty darn good. But please! Not together! This film is meant to be epic, use epic music. All this trailer is trying to do is make it look like the next 300. Stop it!
Oh yes and while we're at it, lets reveal every kind of monster to be seen in the film except for the Kraken, We'll save that one for the full trailer. I'm placing my bets on that right now.
But the worst thing was the tag line and shitty title graphics at the end. TITANS...WILL...CLASH!!

Arrrgh!! Wryy!? You horrible horrible Hollywood people!! *cries*

But for all my bitching and moaning, it still looks like its going to be frickin awesome. The casting looks great (Zeus ), the monsters look like they are going to be shit scary (Medusa is gonna have me hiding behind my cardy) and... um... GIANT giant scorpions!

So yeah watch the trailer and see what you think. I'm gonna watch it on mute from now on.

All I can say is they better have Bubo the owl in it.
